april updates

After our Easter Euro trip it was back to Hull in Yorkshire with the Overvoorde family for the remainder of our break...had a very enjoyable time relaxing in the English countryside and fit in some day trips to York (where we went to Betty's for proper English tea and scones and did night time ghost walk/tour around the city) and Beverly.

Since being back in Manchester it's been very busy at uni! Just submitted my final marketing paper on Harrod's entry into Brazil: Strategies for entering into the emerging market- felt good to get it handed in. We finished classes last Thursday, so celebratory pints outside in the sun and shopping were rewarded!

Went to London over the weekend for a housewarming party. Made me realise how much I love central west London- we stayed in Shepherd's Bush and went to the surrounding areas of Holland Park and Notting Hill (beautiful Victorian townhouses and cute little shops/restaurants). Made us very excited to make the move down come September!

Now it's revision time...with my exam in a week from today. I'm also doing work experience as a fashion intern, helping with the brand directory and events for the only fashion-specific marketing and PR agency in Manchester. It's a great networking portal constantly expanding the Northern fashion scene...Check it out! They even have their own 'street style' section of trendy people walking around Manchester...

Then I'm looking forward to my ongoing visitors coming to Manchester (and a permanent summer one- my sister arrives in less than 2 weeks now!)
