Madrid consisted of sipping wine in the sun, indulging in tapas, paella and sangria (not to mention our morning latte and chocolate croissant deal!), lots of squares, statues, shopping, parks, pretty buildings and walking around!

day to night

Day trip to LAKE COMO- where George Clooney has a house and I'm not surprised why...half an hr train ride from Milan and we're in paradise! I know, I know the backdrop behind me looks fake! But it's not. Cute Italian homes/restaurants on the water/shops/gelato cafes, lake, mountains, alps, peaceful, perfect weather...what more could you ask for?

Eating the most delicious banana and dark chocolate gelato! I'm just a little bit obsessed with Italian ice cream -so yummy!

milano day 1

 BRISTOL to MILAN, MILAN to BARCELONA, BARCELONA to MADRID. MADRID to LONDON. So this was our first destination at the beginning of an amazing Easter vacation. I had heard mixed reviews about Milan so my expectations were never set too high but the city definitely didn't disappoint! On the contrary...

Words can't even begin to describe Milan- the cobble streets, the architecture, the shopping, the fashion district, the food, the culture, the cathedrals, the squares...

The first evening in Milan we came across Via Della Spiga! Our first glimpse of the street, peaceful and lite up, was just filled with beautiful designer shops with window displays that just made you want TO DIE and that was it...I fell in love. It has to be my favourite street in Milan, if not the entire world!
